About the CRM

The CRM is where your team keeps track of the advertisers, agencies and other companies you work with, the people there, and the deals you're working on. Tasks, notes and files sit right next to the records they belong to, so anyone on the team can see the full story of an account.

The CRM runs on Twenty, an open-source CRM. These articles describe Twenty version 2.41.0.

Open the CRM

Go to crm.jacksonblank.com in your web browser. It works on a computer and in your phone's browser. Everyone on the team works in the same workspace, so you all see the same records.

The main ideas

  • Objects are the kinds of things the CRM keeps track of. It comes with People, Companies, Opportunities, Tasks and Notes. Your admin can add more.
  • Records are the entries in an object. Each client brand is a record in Companies, and each contact is a record in People.
  • Fields hold the details of a record, such as a person's email or a deal's amount.
  • Views are saved ways to look at an object's records. A table view looks like a spreadsheet. A Kanban view shows records as cards in columns, such as the stages of a deal.

Records link to each other. A person belongs to a company, a deal has a company and a point of contact, and you can attach tasks, notes and files to any of them.

What isn't set up yet

  • The CRM can't send email yet, so invitation emails and password reset emails don't arrive.
  • Gmail and Microsoft email and calendar sync isn't available yet. Your admin can set it up later.
  • AI features aren't set up.

Official user guide

Twenty publishes its own user guide. It may describe a newer version than the one here, so some screens and labels can differ.
